SYSTEM COSTS AND SAVINGS
We believe that by making use of TaxiDriverData an authority will save a considerable amount of time making direct enquiries with other licensing authorities. This will result in a measurable saving in staff hours. In addition to this by using the system, a comprehensive database of taxi drivers will be created, which will ensure that ‘problem’ drivers are quickly identified and dealt with. This will clearly take time but as more councils adopt the system the more comprehensive the database will become. There are also discounts for paying for five years fees and other reductions can be negotiated if the council also signs up to TaxiDriverTest.
