Initial access to the Taxi Driver Data system
reveals the log on screen shown here. Due to the security measures built into the system even this screen would not be shown to any person attempting to access the system unless they had a security certificate installed on the viewing computer. To access the main site users are required to click the log in button which takes them to the main log in screen. |

The log in procedure requires three
pieces of information, the username, the password and the
council the user belongs to. This triple approach further
increases security. The username and password are also encrypted on input using MD5 encryption technology further increasing security. |
