TAXI COMPANIES

The second database within Taxi Driver Data is the company or operators database. It is similar to the Taxi Driver database and relates directly to it inasmuch as all drivers working for a company may be listed against that company. In common with the driver database companies may be searched for and created where they do not already exist.

1.	Company Details - Full details of the company are recorded including its main address. There is also the ability to record some notes against the company. The details are editable by the recording council only.
2.	Driver Index - Drivers may be searched for and then linked to a company from within the company view area. The drivers details may also be viewed from those listed.
3.	Document Index - This feature allows for the recording and, if required, the upload of documents concerning the company. These could include letters or banning orders given or sent to the driver or company.
4.	Telephone Index - Allows the recording of all telephones and other telecommunication devices which may be used by the company.
5.	Vehicle Index - Allows for the recording of details of vehicles used by the companies. The vehicle index is written in such a way that it can be searched nationally and its driver and operator details can be accessed directly from the results.
