TAXI DRIVERS

Features

Taxi driver data consists of a number of inter-related databases.  The taxi driver database allows for the management of every driver controlled by a council or just those who have proved to be a problem in the past. The driver database allows for the searching for and creation of drivers records as well as other related data concerning the driver.  It is common throughout all databases within this application that all data created is only editable by the council which created it.
1. Driver Details - A full description of the driver including the ability to upload a photograph.  The ability to record other details including driver and National Insurance numbers.
2. Incidents Log - An ability to record incidents in which the driver has been involved including offences such as illegally plying for hire, the punishment or action taken together with an expiry date for the action taken or ban imposed.
3. Telephone Index - Allowing the recording of telephone numbers which may be connected to the driver.
4. Document Index - This feature allows for the recording and, if required, the upload of documents concerning the driver.  These could include letters or banning orders given or sent to the driver.
5. Address Index - Allowing the recording of addresses which may be used by the driver.
6. Vehicle Index - Allows for the recording of details of vehicles used by the driver.  The vehicle index is written in such a way that it can be searched nationally and its driver and operator details can be accessed directly from the results.
